What is wrong with a Skoda??? The Octavia and Fabia are nice wee cars. They improved alot since they started putting Volkswagen engines in them. Got a couple of pals that drive them.

Where's the pull cord to start those Skodas? The engine looks like something for a lawnmower...only smaller.

Scarlet, are you implying that you have a Yugo? (can't think of many things worse than a Skoda, that's one of them.....).

Q: Why do Yugo's have rear-window defrosters?
A: To keep your hands warm in the winter while you're pushing it.

Patron at an auto store: I'd like a rear-view mirror for my Yugo.
Clerk: Ok, sounds like a fair trade.

Nope. Echo Hatchback. Mine is silver with dark tinted windows and a 12 "sub in the hatchback...not much room for groceries!

I drove a yugo for week. It was a loaner car while mine was in the body shop (Crazed girl driving soon-to-be-ex-boy-friend's wee red sports car - camaro I think - didn't seem to realize that when driving 45 MPH in a residential area, with a speed limit of 25, that when you round the corner, the STOP sign that is easy to stop for when going less than 30 is nigh on impossible to stop for at 45 - T-Boned my Mazda - right on the driver's door. I drove away. The wrecker driver got out a broom and dust pan for her car.)

The same week, it was announced that the Michigan State Police and Department of Transportation were "investigating reports" that a Yugo had been blown off the Mackinaw Bridge (connects the upper and lower penninsulas of Michigan where Lake Michigan and Lake Huron come together). They found the car alright ... later they found the driver. The State then asked for anyone with a yugo of the same year and model that was involved in the "incident" they wished to "donate" for use in experiments, they'd appreciate it. The loaner I had been driving was offered after I returned it...

Oh. They also changed the safety rules on the bridge for "extremely high winds" and small cars. :scarl:
