I was wondering if anybody had links to websites which would allow me to download and burn entir tunes to a disc.

You can find many tunes on the homepage, but if you become a member of the society you can find many more.

There are also the two BBC radio programs, Pipeline, and Crunluath; Pipeline frequently has a tune, and Crunluath always has one. After the major solo competitions (Northern Meeting, etc) they frequently have a few tunes. You need a program like Total Recorder to capture the stream.
