Well, yesterday's competition and beer tent festivities proved to be a good meeting day for our forumites from the North American side of the Atlantic. Met piper dancer..aka Kaitlan...what a sweetie she is. Also was hanging out with Scarlet, Sass, Foxytenor, Celtic Ceith, James and...uh.....mmmmm....some other people. Right..I remember now...Spitty and Matt.

I just love those games and beer tent...closed up another one I'm happy to say...but I'm getting just a little to well known by the security people...what's with them..they are like...the beer tent gestapo :faint:

Er...actually, you also (briefly) met me shortly after the closing ceremonies. Unfortunately, besides being sort of shy in the first place, I was a bit tired from a cold and the poor quality of sleep I'd had the night before, so I didn't say much--which might explain why you don't remember me. :rolleyes:

Well I guess there was one more forum member I didn't meet whilst in the Chatham beer tent ... .Pennfana. Penn you should have introduced yourself when I was talking to Carrie and Brad, would have been great to meet you.

Now I realize that I do not have the cute factor of Kait and Cindy, nor the "come and give us a hug luv" appeal of Dai, but I think I'm nice all the same !!! :puppydogeyes: :puppydogeyes:

Penna...I appologize....what was I doing at the time you met me? The only person I remember meeting after a massed bands on SAturday was that hot cop friend of mine that showed up for a visit.

I'll make a point to try to be more mindful of who I've met. So, Dai coming to Maxville, that's awesome! Can hardly wait.

I was looking for Celtic Mitch at various times during the day....and always seemed to just miss where she had been...it was thirsty work, and required several refuelling jaunts...of course, at the end of the day I did find her in the beer tent....yayy....so I had to celebrate....:wink:
