International Piping in the Park!

The International Piping in the Park competition brings together some of the best pipers and raw talent from across the world, battling it out for your support and national pride!

The location is the relaxed surroundings of Dungannon Park after the Co.Tyrone Championships on the 14th May 2011 at 7.30pm

So get yourself a ticket, a glass of beer and sit back and enjoy a great nights entertainment!

The line up includes

Andrea Boyd (Canada)
James Gore (England)
Jonathan Greenlees (N.Ireland)
Gordon McCready (Scotland)
Donald MacPhee (USA)
Kevin Rogers (N.Ireland)

Tickets are priced at £7.50 + 50p postage (if require) and are available from Gail by calling her on 07738787043, emailing her at gail.graham47@yahoo.co.uk or online by logging onto the aughintober website (aughintoberpipeband.com)

Tickets will also be available on the day, but we advise advance booking.

I've seen James Gore at a few competitions - excellent piper.

Of the top of my head, Andrea was SLOT
the rest, with the exception of the last are FM I think. Gordon was Strathpol

But don't take my word for it.

Good to hear McPhee is still up there playing with the best. I used to listen to him back in the day at solo comps and played his reeds in my own solo's! I also remember as a boy he taught at one of the Piping Centre summer courses and was class.
