I've been amongst their biggest critics recently, but I have to say that this is one of the best medleys I've heard in years (it sounds like Bill Livingstone has a bit of influence). |

I used to love watching Polkemmet practice and perform their medleys they always tried to be different and original. Sadly the adjudicators shot them down and any other band that tried to be original.
Polkemmet were amazing in the 1990`s and I used to look forward to see what was new and exciting in their repertoire. Today`s Grade 1 bands still play well but sadly no band is playing a really distinctive, exciting interpretation of their music, they are playing very "safe" medleys, they all sound very similar, at one time many bands in grade 1 had a very distinctive sound but not today`s grade one bands. agreed, but TPPB's El Mocambo is genius, so genius that I think maybe FMM might want to move over and settle for 3rd

Sorry, Mr Haslip, I'd bet on you suffering death by excessive bonnet consumption before SP even smells his cooking.
