Malware warning - Page 2

Typical for me that once i mention it, it has not happened since.

This "malware" thing is contagious.....it's infected my crunluaths as well

Rob, I just got the same warning again. I tried to take a snap shot of it, but I couldn't remember how LOL so i wrote down some of what it said instead.

Hi All,

The guys who handle the behind-the-scenes stuff here have found the offender: it's a smiley called "cry" with the alt tag of ":cry:".

Instead of being installed here using the usual methods it was added by simply having a link to the source website, which in this case was i8i.co.uk. This smiley has been removed, though there is a possibility that it will be added back using a safer way of doing it.

There is no malware on this server: that is constantly checked for. And due to the warning that people have been getting, the server has been thoroughly rechecked and re-rechecked.

Please let us know if you continue to get this malware warning, though it should now go away.
