Well they say it's better to have an not need,than to need an not have.variety is the spice of life,so many different variations an colours in the world of pipes an drums.

being a piper Im not 100% sure but I think our band has white bass and tenor mallets except on australia and ANZAC days, then we have green and gold (of course! what else?)

two's good
thats always something that has stuck in my mind from going to the games from a young age,the colour of the drums,still attracts me yet,actually wanted to learn the bass,so my oldman said oh,then the oldlady piped up/right yer going tae the dancing!so i did that until i passed my silver exams,then i got put on the chanter,,,,
