Just saying hello
I'm fairly new to the bagpipe world, I have only been on the pipes for about 8 months now. I belong to a very good pipe band here in Colorado and am getting ready for my first St. Patrick's day parade. I would have never thought in a million years that I would want to learn the bagpipes. Now that I have gotten into it I love em! If there are any other active or former Marines here.....Semper Fi!!!

You sound nice... I like the fact that you are above 30 years old, as I am too... You live in Colorado, I have never been there, so If I am ever in the U.S can I stay as your place for the weekend? Its a shame you play the bagpipes, I hope you take up tenor druming instead... Dont worry too much about St Paticks Day, I have been playing on St Paricks day for the past few years, by the time its lunch time everyone is so hammered that you can play the scale and they will think you are the best piper in the world... I wish I could be hammered by lunch, but we play a few other gigs for the rest of the day and at least here it is not a good time driving after drinking. I'm also a former law enforcement officer. But I am looking forward to trying to play that day anyway. Thank you for the kind words. I do play drums as well, but not with the band, I play alot of different instruments. As my better half always tells me, I have too many hobbies.
