It sounds to me as if the drones were taped on a seperate track & then blended into the clip with a mixing board.

The drones sound way too steady to be a "taped live" recording.

Hey, even the greatest among us have to "strike up" our pipes to begin playing...unless of course there's some sort of electronic assistance at work, as it likely is with this.

A talented piper all the same though...who is he ??

It sounds to me like not only is Paul totally correct, but that the guy doing the mixing got the drums out of synch, because the accents the drummer is making are between the accents the piper is playing.

no. this is a live recording from the World Solos. NO DUBBING has been done. But im wondering if maybe the drummer used a recording
