Canning Reeds....Again.

Thanks Ryan. Another kudos for great (above and beyond!) service.

No matter what bass reed (Spitfire, Ezee, Crozier, Canning) I put into the bass drone of my cocobolo MacLellans, they always tuned really low. I had to compensate by moving the top section down quite a bit or the lower would have been on the mount.

Anyway - I explained my situation to Ryan and he worked his magic. I received a new bass reed that is absolutely PERFECT! What's amazing is that I did not give him specific measurements on how low it was tuning..just that it was really low.... and that man got it 100%.
I simply plugged it in without adjusting a thing and it's bang on!

WOW!

I think I may have sold a few people on Cannings this weekend. I bet they are scouring their favorite piping supliers this very minute for Cannings of their own!
