Had a set of these in my hands tonight....silver and ivory....circa 1920....looked to be perfect....I think I need them!

The widow simply wants the pipes played....in case her kids someday want to take up piping......I told the guy she sent them to band with that I'd like to speak to her.....

I think you need to send them up to me in Ottawa for conservation and evaluation, followed by a lengthy period of acclimatization. I'll let you know when they're ready and safe to be played again.

Can you send me some closeup pics of them Scarlet? I'd love to see them. Especially the silver pattern, the ivory, the drone top's. If there are any hallmarks, a pic of them would be awesome. What are the chances of you bringing them to Maxville to see in person??

I got an email from you saying it was cancelled, and beginners cancelled until Sept.

I just read it again. I see my mistake. I thought it said that there is no band practice...but it actually reads that there is band practice....crap. Oh well...the wings 'n Guinness were good though.

I'll definitely be there this Wed. though. Sorry about that.
